On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m prioritizing newer spots, but I’m also including a few places I’ve visited before because they still feel fresh to the valley. One of those staples is Beaumont. Today I picked up a breakfast burrito from Beaumont and knew it deserved a spot on this list.
I love Beaumont for a few reasons, but the top two are convenience and freshness. If you spend time in the mountains along the Wasatch Front, Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before heading out. I often grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and easy without sacrificing quality. While drive-through burritos from many Mexican spots can be greasy and heavy, Beaumont manages to feel satisfying without leaving you wiped out before an active day.
Beaumont’s breakfast burrito is stuffed with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What really sets it apart is the sauce. A great breakfast burrito always depends on its sauce, and the creamy tomatillo escabeche-style dressing here adds bright, tangy flavor that ties everything together.
Located between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers more than just a great burrito. Their coffee and pastries are excellent, and the burrata salad is a standout if you’re looking for something lighter or to share. Beaumont is consistent and dependable, which is part of its charm.
A quick note: good food attracts crowds, and Beaumont is no exception. Weekends tend to be busy, and you’ll often see people gathered outside. If you only want coffee and pastries, don’t let the line deter you—it’s easy to grab what you need or use the drive-through. If you plan to sit and enjoy the patio or the beautifully designed interior, expect a bit of a wait on weekends.
