Ingredients

  • 12 oz pepper jelly
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • 2 tablespoons diced jalapeños
  • ¼ cup diced crispy bacon
  • ¼ cup diced green onion
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose BBQ seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 250°F if smoking, or preheat your oven to 350°F if baking.
  2. In a bowl, combine 6 oz of pepper jelly, the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar and mozzarella, diced jalapeños, crispy bacon, half of the diced green onion, and the BBQ seasoning. Mix until smooth and evenly combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a 10-inch cast iron pan or a casserole dish and smooth the top.
  4. If smoking: place the pan in the smoker at 250°F for 30 minutes, then increase the temperature to 350°F and smoke for an additional 20 minutes. If using an oven: bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes, or until the dip is warmed through and bubbly.
  5. Warm the remaining pepper jelly and drizzle it over the hot dip. Sprinkle the remaining green onions on top for garnish.
  6. Serve the dip warm with Ritz crackers, tortilla chips, or your favorite dippers. Enjoy!
