This St. Patrick’s Day Rainbow Skittles Treat Bag is a delightful, budget-friendly gift idea perfect for kids, classmates, co-workers, or classroom parties. It’s a simple, colorful treat made by layering Skittles, Rolos, and marshmallows to represent a rainbow, and it includes a printable label to finish the presentation.

St. Patrick’s Day Rainbow Skittles Treat Bags

For these treat bags I used Wilton pretzel party bags, which are a great size for creating a neat layered rainbow look. They’re easy to find at craft stores or online. The clear bags show off the colorful Skittles and marshmallows, and folding a printed label over the top gives each bag a polished finish.

Ingredients (per bag)
1 clear cellophane bag
1 printed tag (printable provided below)
8 Rolos
30 Skittles (6 each of red, orange, yellow, green, purple)
6 mini marshmallows

Download the free printable tag from the original printable source and print on sturdy paper or sticker paper for best results.

Directions
1. Place 8 Rolos along the bottom of the cellophane bag to create the base “pot of gold.”
2. Add Skittles by color, layering six purple, six green, six yellow, six orange, and six red to form the rainbow stripes.
3. Top the Skittles with 6 mini marshmallows to represent clouds at the end of the rainbow.
4. Print the free St. Patrick’s Day label on cardstock or sticker paper.
5. Fold the label over the top of the bag and secure it with a staple, hole punch and ribbon, or tape.

If you want another St. Patrick’s Day idea, consider rainbow Twizzlers treat bags made in a similar style or try a layered rainbow dessert such as Rainbow Jell-O bars for a festive classroom snack or party dessert.
